The Eden Planners in Cobalt are just a delight to look at and use. I love how the big watercolour peonies are anchored by lots of blue and green leaves and everything swirls together - rather like they were in an English country garden waving in the breeze.
This design has always reminded me of fine bone tea sets, those square cubes of sugar (do they still exist?) and taking tea in the garden in spring - I feel like I should live in one of the villages from Midsomer Murders. (One of my guilty pleasures! If you watch the old ones and it's like spot the then-undiscovered-but-now-very-famous-actor like Orlando Bloom, Henry Cavill, Sam Heughan.... so good. )
Anyway, big florals like this can sometimes look a bit 'nanna's curtains' if used too much, so I paired it with a modern calligraphy font and crisp styling everywhere else. You'll find most planner pages in this set have no florals on them and are kept simple with just shades of blue, calligraphy and a sweet little flower motif.
The covers and accessories however are full colour florals, so you can enjoy the design without it becoming too much.
I hope you enjoy using these ... and I won't tell anyone you're now binge watching Inspector Barnaby... (FYI it's on Amazon Prime - you're welcome!)
